The first BBC Radio 3 Listening Post was installed at The Barbican for a trial period. Good public reaction led to units being installed at The Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Opera House.

Portable listening posts were designed and produced for use at the Edinburgh Festival.
